Module Corruption issue

Got associate with this problem:

We have a corrupted database (due to a power loss). The database is classified (so we cannot send it to IBM) but we suspect it is a corrupt table cell causing the module not to open. The error code reads as follows:

DOORS Report    X Error in Module Data: Loading object 8839,
previous object (8838) not descended from sibling (8832)

We ran the Data Integrity Checker. It found nothing and the error came up again even after we tried several other tricks from IBM. Including rebooting the servers, having others log in, etc...

Is there a non-DOORS utility to open/look/fix DOORs module data?

Thoughts?

Something along the lines of what I suggested for a similar recent post might help - have a look at this thread which I noticed you had also responded to.

I can help you fix the issue, but you would need to provide the treedata.dtc file (from a module archive or the database) ... Since I guess this is not possible because the data is classified -> mail me. Regards, Mathias

I clicked on the link and it works for me - alternatively - go to the "Rational DOORS General Discussion" forum and look\search for a thread named "DOORS Error when opening Module"
